1. How do I register for a course?
You can register online using the registration link on the course page.
2. What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payment via PayNow or bank transfer.
3. Can I use SkillsFuture Credit?
Eligible courses can be paid using SkillsFuture Credit. Please check the course details to confirm if the course is eligible. Please note that SkillsFuture Mid-Career Credits cannot be used for our courses.
4. What happens after I register?
You will receive a confirmation email with further instructions approximately two weeks before the course start date.
5. Will I receive a reminder before the course starts?
Yes. A WhatsApp group invitation will be emailed to you approximately three days before the course begins. Please join the group, as important updates, including the venue, items to bring, and any last-minute announcements, will be shared there.
6. What if I cannot attend?
If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation and refund policies vary depending on the course.
7. What should I bring to class?
The items required will depend on the course you have registered for. Details will be shared in the WhatsApp group before the course starts.
Typical items may include:
- Your camera or smartphone (depending on the course)
- A fully charged battery
- A memory card
- A power bank
- A notebook and pen
- Any additional items specified by the instructor
8. Are courses suitable for beginners?
Course levels are indicated in the course description. Many of our courses are suitable for beginners, while others are designed for participants with prior experience.
9. Do I have to be a member to join the course?
No. Our courses are open to everyone. You do not need to be a PSS member to register. Both Singapore residents and international visitors are welcome to join our courses.
10. Are courses conducted in English or Mandarin?
The language of instruction is stated in each course description. We offer courses conducted in English, Mandarin, or both languages, depending on the instructor and course.
11. Where are classes held?
Most classes are conducted at The Photographic Society of Singapore (PSS) unless otherwise stated in the course details.
