MOU between IES & PSS

Memorandum of Understanding between PSS and IES
to promote the art of photography

Photography has always been a result of bringing together art and science and this blend is being mirrored in the Memorandum of Understanding signed on 13 December between the The Photographic Society of Singapore (PSS) and The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES).
Signing for PSS and IES were their Presidents, Mr. David Tay and Er. Ho Siong Hin, respectively. Both Presidents warmly welcomed the development of the MOU and encouraged all members to take advantage of the opportunities to get involved in photographic arts.
This MOU provides a broad framework for the parties to collaborate to advance and promote the art and science of photography as a mean of communication, image appreciation and cultural exchange.
Through the MOU, PSS will have an additional outreach to more than 5100 IES members while IES will have access to support and training in photography from PSS, for its members.
In an early initiative, PSS will be collaborating with IES to organise Talks, Outings and Photography Courses during the next few months. IES members will also be invited to participate in PSS activities .
The MOU takes immediate effect and has an initial term of five years.
