Photography Symposium 2010 THE ANALOGUE IN DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography Symposium is part of Team Young NTUC 20/20 (TYN 20/20) Photography club's 'For the Love for Photography' programme. This programme is an initiation by TYN 20/20 to celebrate the love for photography across all cultures. This program connects and bonds photographers from all around the world.
The theme for this year's symposium is 'The Analogue in Digital Photography’
Over the past decade digital photography has raised many ethical concerns due to the possibility of manipulating digital photographs in post processing. Digital photography has made picture editing relatively simple for even the novice photographer. How have digital photography affected the way photographer execute their shots? Has digital photography made the century old believe of 'making ever shot counts' redundant?
For this year's symposium, TYN 20/20 has invited Mr Goh Kim Hui, PSS Vice President to share his view on how digital photography had taken its toll on the traditional photography practices.
The other intent for this symposium is to allow all invited participants to network and share their passion in photography. There will be a dialogue for our panel of professional photographers to share their insights and answer the participants' queries.
