Come 30 October, Saturday, PSS has invited Mr Yeo Wee Han, President of the Nature Photographic Society of Singapore (NPSS) to share with us, his passion for Nature Photography.

A professional photographer and filmmaker specialising in equine, travel and nature photography, Wee Han’s images have been widely published by local and foreign media. His videos, the ‘Singapore Lights’ has caught the eyes of the Singapore Tourism Board and the Discovery Channel amongst many others.

Devoted to nature photography, Wee Han has joined NPSS since its inception where he learnt various aspects of nature photography including landscape, macro and avian, and has hone his photography skills through over 8 years of serving in its committee. Wee Han is currently in his second term (2010-2011) as President of the Nature Photographic Society of Singapore, where he shares his fervent passion in landscape photography.

Synopsis:
Hear from Wee Han, his passion in nature photography where his focuses on macro and landscape photography, and shares techniques including the use of HDR (high dynamic range) to close focusing with extreme close-up lenses. The talk will undoubtedly be an eye opener for all, especially photography and nature enthusiasts.

PSS will also be presenting the grand prize winners for NIKON-PSS Photo of the month competition for the following themes at the end of the talk :
