"Amalgamare"

Games (YOG)

Submit your interpretations of all things Indian featuring
"Original India; Little India; Indian Fusion"
To celebrate Singapore's hosting of the first ever Asian Youth
Games (AYG) this year and the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in 2010,
our group is organizing a series of projects. One of these projects
is a nation-wide photographic competition titled "Amalgamare".
For "Amalgamare", we are inviting participants to
join us in interpreting all things Indian, from the Original India,
to our familiar Little India, to the more cosmopolitan and contemporary
Indian Fusions.

Racial Harmony at our Festivals Photo Competition
Jointly prganised by People's Association
and The Photographic Society of Singapore,
this competition is aimed to capture people interacting and celebrating
during festivals in Singapore's multi-racial society, portraying
People's Association (PA) mission of promoting racial harmony.
This competition is open to members of PA PAssion Card, The
Photographic Society of Singapore (PSS) and photographic clubs
in the community clubs (CCs). Participants must be a Singapore
Citizen or Permanent Residents 18 years old (as at 1 October 2008)
and above.
Closing date is 8 January 2009, 6pm.
