The Selection Committee would be judging both the photograph and the caption base on whether they convey the theme.

The result of the competition will be announced through the River Hongbao website by early Feb and prizes presented during the River Hongbao. The first prize is $1000 Tiger Airway vouchers, the second prize is $800 Tiger Airway vouchers, the third prize is $500 Tiger Airway vouchers and 10 additional winners would walk away with $200 Tiger Airway vouchers each. Winning entries may also be exhibited at River Hongbao. As the closing date for the competition is 8 Feb, would-be participants still have two weeks to upload their entries.

President of the Photographic Society Singapore, Mr David Tay, said “This is a very meaningful competition. Many Singaporeans like to visit River Hongbao during the Chinese New Year, therefore I believe many have taken photographs there. I hope that members of the public can participate in this competition and share their happy memories.”
