zAnn_Huizhen_Huang_1

Zann Huizhen Huang, a photojournalist from Singapore saw an opportunity to do a documentary project about the KTM Tanjong Pagar Railway when the last train was going to cease operation on 30 June 2011.
Zann captured not just still images of the station and trains but also the emotions that ran through towards its final closure. Expect to catch rare glimpses of the staff quarters and the different lifestyles built around the tracks over the last few decades. Poignant portraits of the various KTM and foodstall staff are also fondly preserved in this exhibition.
